CORRECTION: No Pedophiles on the Poll
Just the Lizardman Constant
So on the Poll that 75 people answered with apparently 3 supporting the pedophile rapist Polanski it turns out it was instead a mere case of what a gentleman pointed out is the Lizardman Constant. Which is quite a funny read. So ultimately, all is well here at the Kurgan Blog.
On the other hand, while 2 of the wrong button pushers were apparently acting from withdrawal symptoms of their drug of choice (coffee) another couple were suffering from illiteracy and reading comprehension issues that required them to re-read, avoid pushing, or pushing the wrong button.
As I said, I’m not giving any of these guys launch codes!
i voted NEVER in the poll but admit i was at first confused by the wording as well and had to re-read it 5 times to make sure i got the jist of it before voting.
I just realized my hastily typed comment had a typo: I meant to say, if YOU are ever in charge of the launch codes, or anything important, read the instructions twice or three times. I totally comprehended the poll, but just remember that I carefully re-read it to be sure that my initial comprehension was correct: that I would NOT give a letter of support to pedophiles. Just wanted to clear that up. As a computer programmer guy, I take comprehension and following of the algorithm very seriously.
Also, when I put together Ikea-style furniture, I've found that one wants to be very sure one doesn't miss a detail, or one often has to take apart a large chunk of assembly work and start over. haha.
