I would add for people reading this, don't wait to get started. There is a learning curve for everything. Don't think that when everything is going to hell that you are all of a sudden going to have the luxury of getting up to speed at that time. For example, I spent several years getting a good garden going that was highly productive. I had one good year, and the word went out in the varmint community, which had never been a problem. The next year my harvest was basically zero. Now I am re-designing to keep all the animals out. Stuff like that will inevitably happen, no matter what you are trying to do.

Just what I needed to hear. I'm in a small, isolated community. I've noticed that the padavores and associated scum have tried to infiltrate here, but luckily, there's an extreme housing shortage, and the locals are very wary of strangers. Gets us called bad names (racist, blah blah blah), but we will hang on.

Septic is being cleaned. Two more water tanks ordered. Setting up for a stove instead of a wood burner. Agreement to put solar in -- because power outages are not fun. Found a good reformed church. Being polite to the neighbours.

Thiel needs nukes and power networks to run his project. All these things are more fragile than a well or a 25 000 litre concrete tank.

I am keeping as little as possible in any fiat currency. Do what you can to disconnect. God will reign. We are here to glorify him, in live and if needed, let our death be a witness to him.

G,

BELIEVE was GREAT, did you cover point #4 in that or another book?

Love your writing style brother--have you considered writing a nonfiction outlining how to go about purchasing property for eventual self-sustainment?

Which point n.4? The totalism vs sedeprivationism? I only inferred it by how I repurposed the etymology of sedeprivationism and pointed out that it made no more sense now. This was in RTCC. Since then the SP movement has become ever more readily smelling of heresy, so a group of us are preparing a robust response to what is effectively a serious crack in the remnant of the true Church, which is small enough as it is.

Languages can be learnt. And everywhere has problems. It’s a matter of picking your problems. And if you can afford to, go visit prospective places before upending your life.

Plan accordingly to what you are capable of doing. If needs be get started with a big out bag at the very least. Familiarize yourself with basic survival plans to begin analyzing what will work for you and your family within your general location. Learn to grow and collect viable seeds, if possible network with other growers and trade seeds. The most crucial would be a way to secure a fresh water source. I don't know your situation but that's the most important for everything.
