I truly don't understand why people think God doesn't have rules. Yes, He loves us and wants us to choose salvation, but it has to be done on His terms, not ours. You have only to look at the rules He laid out for the proper handling of the Ark, and what happened when they ignored those rules, to see that God does not take it lightly when people try to skirt His rules. Why would He be any different to those who try to undermine His Sons sacrifice for us?

I think for love to truly be love there has to be an order/rule to it. Otherwise it just seems like apathy disguised as love. Much like so much "compassion" today is more just false compassion designed to make the feeler of it feel better about themselves.

Absolutely not. Most of the present and recent past "patriarchs" of the most public branch of the Russian Orthodox Church are members of the old KGB.

The only thing I will say about another, real, branch of the Russian Orthodox Church is that, as one of their own said, "....we were never with the Greeks...." which is at least that point in their favor.

Even so, you are a bunch of schismatics and as such also prone to heresy. No thanks.

Perhaps you are not a native English speaker which could make it, possibly, understandable that you would misinterpret my words to make you even so much as think that I would have anything whatever to do with your so-called "religion".

You might wish to find and read the book, "Russia's Catacomb Saints" subtitled, "Lives of the New Martyrs" by Dr. Ivan Andreyev...IFF you can find the early version that had not yet been "messed with" by some of your so-called "patriarchs".

You might learn something worthwhile from that book.
