I mean, if you trust anything a doctor says blindly, without checking, researching and questioning them in some depth, at this point, you basically deserve whatever happens to you.
Never trust people with your health who are paid to keep you sick. I always encourage ppl to question the knowledge of doctors as well as finding a new doctor that will listen if they are being ignored or given bogus statements like, "I don't know what this is but we will label it as tonsillitis, heres some antibiotics." What I don't understand is the lack of welding consumer power. Fire your doctor and find a new one! Your insurance even provides an entire network to choose from. They are just too lazy/"busy" to do the work. I think the level of trust of authority is slipping but the programming is strong, most don't want to take full responsibility for themselves. That's why if they relegate it to the doctors then they absolve themselves of the responsibility of due diligence.

Most people have very little to virtually no understanding of how their body works in the most basic form, believing there is a barrier to such knowledge without a specialized education.
Simple observation and body awareness isn't even a skill most develop across a lifetime, so medical professionals use this understanding as an opportunity to milk every cent from the all too trusting, keeping folks sick and miserable.
Doctors too are indoctrinated. Most humans have very little critical thinking ability. Those who do tend to become militant AGAINST the lies of their original profession. The world only contains two types of people: those who love truth, and everyone else.
